- We are the Buckley family and we have been renting The Lodge on Forglen Estate in Turriff for a number of years now. We have visited in the autumn, spring and even spent a Christmas there. When our children were younger they were awed by the turret. The Lodge is an extremely comfortable, warm and well cared for holiday let and the open fire has added atmosphere to our family gatherings over the years. The dining kitchen is perfectly suitable to enable a family Christmas meal for 8 to be enjoyed in comfort safe in the knowledge that the dishwasher will take care of the aftermath. We have spent many happy family holidays there and look forward to spending many more. Sarah and the team looking after the holiday lets are very helpful and welcoming. It really does feel like our Scottish Home every time we arrive.Maggie, Mark, Martin and Mary Buckley
